If humanity continues as before, it is heading for a three degree warmer earth. What would this world look like? A glimpse into the possible world of tomorrow.
Heat waves, droughts, floods – the first effects of climate change are already being felt today. Limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees was agreed by the international community in the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement. But the climate conference in Egypt only made real progress in the fight against climate collapse in terms of financial aid for poorer countries. “1.5 degrees is still there on paper,” said climate researcher Johan Rockström after the end of the conference.
