How to congratulate on breaking the fast?
If you want to say congratulations on the Sugar Festival, you can simply wish a “Happy Sugar Festival”. The typical greeting for breaking the fast is “Eid Mubarak” in Arabic and is translated as “Blessed Feast”. In Turkish, the wish for the Sugar Festival is “Bayramin mübarek olsun”, which means something like “I wish you a blessed festival”.

How long does the Sugar Festival last?
The festival of breaking the fast always lasts three days. This year the Sugar Festival will be celebrated from April 21st to 23rd. The date of the Sugar Festival is not based on the Gregorian calendar, but on the lunar calendar and therefore always falls on a different day.
