SpaceX owner Elon Musk has already signed a contract with the US space agency Nasa for a manned moon landing for 2025. In the past, the space visionary had spoken of colonizing Mars and wanting to bring a million people there. According to plans announced by Musk in 2016, the first humans could travel to Mars as early as 2025. However, that is extremely unlikely. The US space agency Nasa sees a first manned Mars mission at the earliest in the 2030s. However, his company – just like its competitor Boeing – has not yet brought any astronauts to the ISS, although NASA had originally planned to do so for 2017 – and American taxpayers’ money was invested in it.
